Nature's Knit-a-long
As a fiber artist and instructor who loves the outdoors and seeks to encourage others to learn new things and to look at fiber in a new way. I plan to focused my energies on supporting the gathering of fellow fiber enthusiasts to retreat to the relaxing atmosphere of The Farm and contribute back to nature by applying their creative talents to enhancing the beauty of an outstanding grove of trees.
At the Artist's Studio at The Farm at South Mountain
The Farm is located in a semi-rural area north of
Phoenix’s South Mountain Park. This 12-acre retreat-like setting abounds with shade from large pecan trees, picnic tables and lush grass.
Creating cozies (tree sweaters) for the trees at The Farm will brought knitters and nature lovers from across the valley together.
Look at this poor tree! It needs some TLC!!!
This tree in a few short weeks will become the Message Tree.

Today's the day. We begin to dress the Message Tree.
Chelsie and Donna
I must say, the tree now has a new purpose at The Farm at South Mountain.
It's beginning to take form.
Do come out and spend the day at The Farm. And while you're there leave a message in a pocket of your choice.
The messages left in the pockets will be put together into a book. A copy of the book will be in the Cottage for everyone to read along with copies for sale.
